On Friday it was athletics day it was so fun.  Athletics day was really fun because we did so meany cool sports like discus, shot put, long jump,and  high jump. first we did  hurdles with Mrs eagles it was actually really fun because we did a race. after hurdles we did high jump it was kind of fun but there were better sports so I gave it a go but then I sat down and watched every body else do it. after high jump we did some throwing sports with Mrs Rutherford it was really fun but we didn’t get to do the cats tale but it was all right.

  Today me and my class went to see the walk throw wale it’s name is Jona. when we got in it it deflated but then it filed up with air again It felt so cool when it was blowing up with us inside of it because it felt like we were on a bot and a plan at the same time. The year 4 got to go first because they are younger then we went I was in the yellow team but there was a green team to but I was not in it.

Did you know that a wale can eat more than a human can eat in one yer in one day. most animals are selfish but wale’s are not selfish at all because they will risk there lives for other tips of wale’s and even humans.

On the holidays 

I went to fiji .In fiji we were staying with friends .

We went to so many fun places like the bula bus .On the Bula bus we went to lots of resorts the radison and the radison  blue which has a water slide ,it was so fun . We also went to an island called Mala Mala . Mala Mala is an island that you have to drive a boat to  get to it . Mala Mala has a fresh water pool and its also a restaurant . The water pool and its last things we did was go to the 7th heaven .7th heaven is a restaurant on water that has lots of jumping platforms ,it has low platform that are still pretty high and one really high one .My favourite thing that

i did was swimming and snorkilling 

Room 17 has been busy this term! We are learning about fractions in maths, as well as 3D shapes.

We have done some art with shapes and fractions, and we have also created are own comic strips.

We are also writing are own speeches my one is about taking care of the earth.

In maths we are learning fractions. We have learnt that the top number is the numerator and the bottom number is the denominator.
